Chariton Valley Cooperative Clerical Update

After two years of fighting it's finally over, the Clerical Unit at Chariton Valley Cooperative finally have a Contract.  The National Labor Relations Board in Washington D.C. has ruled against Local 499 and allowed a Contract the was implemented last June 1st to stand.  The Coop said we were at impasse and we said we were not.  Since last June we have fought a hard fight but the NLRB is not Labor friendly at the present time and our members at Chariton Valley have seen the results.

Again we would like to thank our members that have stayed together through this fight.  They have learned the valuable lesson on how much Politics plays a role in our jobs with the NLRB.
